Registration saves your name, date of birth, email address, mobile number and college name. Playing is optional: your registration is saved even if you choose no games.

If you play, the event also saves your game, puzzle variant, attempt number, checked progress, hints used, score and time. Finished attempts appear in My records. The leaderboard becomes available after finishing a game and shows each person’s best completed attempt per game. Hosts can hide inappropriate or false entries from all leaderboards and restore them later; registration and game records are retained.

The player leaderboard displays name, college, game, score, correct-word or connected-square count, hints used and time. Date of birth, email and mobile are available in the host view and its registration exports.

Anyone with the event link can register and optionally play. No email or SMS messages are sent, and registration does not consent to marketing messages.

Records are stored in the event database on the organiser’s hosting account. When configured, registrations, results and leaderboard summaries are copied to the organiser’s Google Sheet. The host view previews these records and provides CSV downloads.

A secure browser cookie remembers your current participant. Your records are saved in the database, and your browser saves unfinished game moves so you can resume. Use the same browser to return to your participant. The host view requires the organiser’s host password. Leaving the page does not pause the five-minute timer.
